BusinessVision will run fast and stably when properly
installed and configured into a fast and stable network. Here are the most
common things that you should NOT do with BusinessVision, Unfortunately,
these are the most common reasons causing data corruption.
DON'T run BusinessVision over a wireless network
DON'T run BusinessVision over a VPN unless you are running it under
Terminal Server
DON'T run BusinessVision on a computer that has Sleep or Hibernate
modes activated
DON'T run BusinessVision on a network that is slower than 1 gigabit
DON'T place the BusinessVision data on a busy server
DON'T place the BusinessVision data on a NAS (Network Area Storage
device)
DON'T run improperly configured IP phones on the same network that
BusinessVision uses.
DON'T trust anyone other than an experienced competent
BusinessVision professional to service your BusinessVision installation.
This is a very real point; not just a sales attempt! I get called in to
clean up after non-BusinessVision people all the time.
