Rental Manager application
|
This application manages the business activity of
renting equipment to customers Features
- Fully integrated with Spire - invoices written directly into
Accounts Receivable, POS inventory properly consumed, etc
- User-configurable rental periods, such as DAILY, MONTHLY, etc
- Rent out equipment, along with goods that you normally sell, and
services related to the rental. For example, if you rent concrete
mixers, you can sell the customer supplies such as concrete mix, and
charge for services such as delivery, cleaning, etc, all on the same
order
- Serialized equipment is supported
- Split Billing is supported up to 3 Split Billers in addition to
the main renting customer
- Longterm rentals supported, where the rental might be for a year
but you bill monthly, with many billing cycles supported (monthly,
weekly, 28 days, etc)
- Full user access control
- Available rental statuses (stages) are: Quote, Reservation, Out,
Returned, with the ability to start a rental at any stage, and
quickly move to the next at any time
- You can also use Rental Manager as a POS system
- Integration with Spire inventory images, or keep a separate set
of images of rental equipment
- Invoice into Spire at any time during the rental
- Lookup current open and closed rentals by equipment and
customer, analyze performance, full history available
- Add or edit Spire customers from within the application
- Equipment alerts, return alerts, customer alerts, equipment
notes, equipment usage notes, specs, delivery info, notes to
customer
- Handles equipment accessories - items suggested to rent at the
same time as the main piece of equipment
- Take payments on the rental order
- View conflicts between rental orders
- Print, email, and save to PDF: quote, rental contract, pick
list, invoice
- Alerts for overdue, no-show, and due back today rentals, and
longterm billing due
- Ability to switch between live and test database for training
- Web pages automatically generated and refreshed for equipment
going out and returned (for inspection/service)
- Work orders
- Returned Not Serviced tickets for post-rental inspection
automatically generated
- Work orders for repair, full service, quick service,
maintenance, inspection, other
- Consumption of repair and maintenance parts, tracking of
costs, work done, etc
- Meter reading hours and km (miles)
- User-configurable mechanics for work orders
- Fully track work done on each piece of rental equipment
- Easy to use and understand, yet full featured with many
user-configurable options, user-configurable alert colours
- Auto-update of software and database when revisions are released
- The Rental Manager database piggybacks onto the Spire database,
so it is backed up in the same snapshot as Spire
